March Round-up

Submitted by Wayne Rumley
'Cornerstone' in March

I could say we've had a busy start to the year, but then, we're always busy.  We welcomed a new member in January followed by another in February. Both, I am sure, will prove great additions to our ancient and honourable fraternity.  If you think it might be for you, do get in touch, we're happy to chat.

We followed those two meetings up with a second degree in March, where we had another great turnout of 'Cornerstone' masons. These are the members of our Lodge who haven't yet attained Provincial rank, so they can be anything from brand new members right up to recent past masters of the Lodge.  The aim of cornerstone is to provide a connection to all of the newer masons across the Province, as not all Lodges are fortunate enough to have a large group of their own.  It provides a link to other members who will be going through the same journey.  It's a great initiative, and one we strongly support.

April is likely to be another second degree with some long overdue third degrees to follow after that.  We have ceremonies planned for the remainder of this year and well into next.

If you're a member of the Craft and you'd like to come along, please do.
