Getting back into the swing of things with a first degree demonstration this month.

Our Fraternal visitors on this occasions were Vedra Lodge No. 3137 and Lodge Stewart No. 4261. Vedra being represented by their Junior Warden, W Bro Clive Parry, and Lodge Stewart being represented by their Almoner / Charity Steward, W Bro Malcolm Wilkinson.

Due to our regular Junior Deacon being absent, our Senior Deacon dropped down for the evening and performed admirably on the night. It is fair to say we had a well worked ceremony, with all officers on the evening performing their roles to the fullest, with special thanks going to W Bro Jack Thompson and W Bro Bob Parsons for their assistance as Past Masters, and not forgetting W Bro Steve Bell of Lord Barnard Lodge No. 2935, who acted as candidate. I would commend the Worshipful Master, too, but modesty prevents me from doing so...

A lively and engaging festive board followed, and a good time was had by all.

November brings elections for the ensuing year which are due to be accompanied by a lecture, yet to be confirmed.
